Located on a sensitive coastal site in the Kemiö archipelago, a set of buildings consisting of a sauna, shed and main building creates a forest getaway for a family of four. The site has road access leading to a small parking area, enclosed by a natural stone wall.

The buildings have been carefully positioned based on compass points, views, and the rocky terrain. The surrounding trees have been preserved as much as possible.

The main building and sauna are constructed with cross-laminated timber elements, while the shed features a timber frame structure. The holiday home has a standing seam metal roof, whereas the sauna has a four-sloped green roof. The sauna building also includes a site-built fireplace, and its wood-fired sauna stove and water heater are enclosed by a plastered brick wall. All buildings have facades painted with a traditional black paint and the terraces are made of larch wood.
