Welcome to a relaxed discussion evening! Together we’ll talk about what kinds of concrete impacts carbon calculations and other assessments have actually produced, both good and bad. We’ll reflect on the blind spots that can arise when relying solely on calculation results.
For example, the demolition of buildings can be justified based on carbon emission figures, and mechanical ventilation is said to save energy. But is this really the case in practice? We’ll also discuss how calculations could be genuinely used to support more environmentally friendly construction.
Join us and bring a friend, light refreshments will be provided. See you there!
When: Thursday 26 February, from 5:00 pm
Where: Mer Architects’ office – Uudenmaankatu 4 A 2
